Tyechia was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and is of Jamaican and Cree heritage. As a child, she was obsessed with anything foreign and historic, especially anything that had to do with the Middle East. This had led her to work and travel abroad on cruise lines and obtain a degree specializing in Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations from the University of Toronto. Eventually, she landed the best job in the world; a kindergarten teacher in Kuwait, where she is able to travel and explore the surrounding region during her time off of work. She enjoys sharing her travel tales with her friends, family, and even her young students; aiming to inspire people to discover the world around them and discover themselves.

Moving to Kuwait has given me the opportunity to travel to so many exotic countries such as Kuwait itself, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Bahrain, the U.A.E., and Oman.
