Visit the Palais Garnier

Paris, France

For classical theater lovers, this should be an obvious bucket lister as Gaston Leroux’s novel “The Phantom of the Opera” was set here! The scene in which the chandelier crashes to the ground was even inspired by true events. It was originally built in 1875 as an opera house, but today viewing ballet is more popular in this facility. The building also includes the Paris Opera Library and Museum.

Why is it bucket list worthy?

Who wasn’t enthralled by the mystery and romance of the Phantom? Here, you can be in the midst of the story!
